This introductory course provides learners with a practical foundation in Human Resource Management within the South African workplace. It explores the role of HR in supporting both employees and organisational objectives while introducing the legal and regulatory framework that governs employment in South Africa.

Learners will develop an understanding of key areas including South African labour legislation, employment relationships, recruitment and selection, employee induction and onboarding, HR administration and record keeping, remuneration and employee benefits, and workplace health, safety and wellness.

By completing this course, learners will gain the essential knowledge needed to understand fundamental HR processes, recognise the responsibilities of employers and employees, and appreciate the important role Human Resources plays in maintaining compliant, fair and effective workplaces.
